Halloween 2009

Brady and I enjoyed Halloween so much this year! We dressed the girls in lady bug costumes which were a hit! The excitement and joy that the girls had definitely rubbed off on us. Brady carved a pumpkin and did a great job! My dad, Gary, and Brady's parents, Gary and Gail, joined us for the evening and we took the girls trick-or-treating in our neighborhood. Our neighborhood has a block party that is really great. The girls loved taking the candy (which they think is a fun little trinket that krinkles..little do they know that there is candy/sweets inside) and putting it into their pumpkin pails. They would say "Thank you" and "Bye-Bye" which always got an "Ahhh..how adorable" from the resident of the house. When we got home, there was a lot of excitement as they searched their pumpkins for each new shiny wrapped little "piece." The inaugural trick-or-treating event was a success!
